Melissa Josue is a relationship coach who works with smart, ambitious women who are ready for real love—and a meaningful, committed relationship. She came to brandiD looking for help positioning herself to attract a more specific type of ideal client, as well as create a website and personal brand that showcases her skills, personality, and authenticity—and lets visitors know she’s available for coaching.
Happy (online) birthday, Melissa! We’d love to share a bit about your experience with our readers. Tell us, what was the main problem you were facing prior to working with brandiD?
I have a popular blog, but my main challenge with my brand was getting readers to be aware they could hire me to help them. Before working with brandiD, my website was all about the content and articles. I wanted to redesign my website so that my services were front and center, as opposed to my blog. I wanted visitors to my website to know right away that I am a coach and that they could work with me to get help. I also partnered with brandiD to help make my website a cleaner, more user-friendly experience.
What did you uncover about your brand/business while working with brandiD?
I uncovered that I love simplicity and that I actually have much to celebrate in terms of the valuable content that I’ve built over the years in my business. I spend so much time creating content and working that I haven’t really stopped to acknowledge how far I’ve come. And stepping back to do the redesign helped me see the depth and totality of what I’ve built.
What did you enjoy most about the process of working with the brandiD team?
Oh, this is a hard one because there is so much I enjoyed! I LOVED the design of the website, and the unveiling of it was just as fun! Plus, the team has such a great sense of humor and was really fun to work with. I love how organized they are; it made it really easy for me to know what next steps I needed to take. I also appreciated all the communication and check-ins to make sure that we were staying on track and on budget!
We know it’s early, but what results have you seen from working with brandiD?
I feel like my SEO has increased. I have many more page views now than before. I also feel like I’m attracting a different clientele who resonate with me.
What would you tell others about working with the brandiD team?
I love the brandiD team! They are a super talented group of designers, developers and project managers. I felt like a valued client and friend each step of the way. I loved that there was clear communication in terms of what to expect throughout the redesign process. The facilitation of the design process was so organized and made it easy for me to engage with the team, check off to-dos, and find information and assets. The team is exceptional in its client service, and design and development skills. Not only are their designs absolutely beautiful — I LOVE LOVE LOVE my website design — but they really care and take great pride in their work. I felt really lucky to partner with them!
It’s your internet birthday…how do you feel and what’s your favorite way to celebrate?
I feel amazing! So thrilled and happy with the work that has been done. Going to celebrate by relaxing and eating chocolate! 🙂
